Jack of All Trades
What a remarkably busy player Robbie Keane is. In addition to turning out for Spurs in the emphatic 4-0 F.A. Cup victory against a disappointing Fulham at Craven Cottage, he captained the side, scored with two great volleys (one in each half) and also generously found time not only to offer his services as referee (with particular reference to the sending off of Montella), but to carry out a running appraisal of the performance of Mark Halsey, who had been appointed to officiate on this occasion.
No doubt in future the appropriate authorities will consider the opportunity to make substantial savings on the expense of an assessor for the referee whenever Mr Keane is selected to play.
