Mourinho - Surely One of the Grates
It’s true. It’s official. Jose Mourinho is a great manager. There is no justification for further debate because the information comes from an irreproachable source, the same source that on his arrival in this country confirmed him as the Special One. And who could possibly know better than Jose Mourinho?
He may well be disposed to stare Arsene Wenger straight in the knee caps and remind the Gunners boss of his self-styled greatness when the team that Arsene built meets the team that Abramovic bought in the Carling Cup final.
And if he is in a good mood, the little interpreter might even choose to share one of his own special insights with his rival – the belief that, while he is undoubtedly a great manager, there is no such thing as the ‘greatest manager’. In other words, all great managers are equal.
Such modesty. Clearly one of many facets to his enduring greatness.
