Spurs Bottle ItYou have to feel sorry for Spurs and their fans. For more than a decade they have longed for the day when they might once again enjoy bragging rights over Arsenal. Now this season’s dream of UEFA Cup glory has been shattered by a decent Seville side that swept into a two goal second leg lead in the first eight minutes, then eased off the gas and spurned further chances to allow their opponents the merest flicker of hope. But all Martin Jol’s boys could manage was two late goals and a red card.
