Sideways is Best for Chelsea

The great, and much missed, Yorkshire and England fast bowler Freddie Trueman was fond of reminding the public that cricket is, as he put it, ‘a sideways game’. He was right of course, almost 100%, but he never saw Mourinho’s Chelsea play. Sideways and back. Sideways and back. Sometimes you get the impression that you’re watching a rugby team. And as for entertainment, it just isn’t cricket.
