England Do Well in Euro 2008 Draw

The qualifying draw for the 2008 European Championships, held in Montreux, should be welcomed by the new England manager whenever he is appointed.

The competition will be staged in 8 cities in Switzerland and Austria Vienna, Berne, Innsbruck, Geneva, Salzburg, Zurich, Klagenfurt and Basel. And England have been drawn in Group E with Croatia, Russia, Israel, Estonia, Macedonia and Andorra a result which even the pessimists would have to admit is quite favourable.
