What Price Understanding
Amongst all the outpourings on the Yahoo Arsenal Message Board was this judgement on the F.A. Cup defeat to Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium: “AW has lost the plot – that was tactically inept.”
What can you say? Nothing much, beyond observing that the author of this sentence must be suffering – from a lack of awareness of what the ‘plot’, so far as Arsene Wenger is concerned, really is and a tendency to pick up and use words which in all probability, he does not understand. It would be interesting to read this Arsenal fan’s definition of ‘tactics’. Not to mention ‘inept’.
