No Man Went To Mow

Surprisingly enough, news of Chelsea's dodgy pitch has reached Spain and some of Barcelona's stars have been wondering why a club not reputed to be short of a rouble or two hasn't gone to the trouble of sorting it out in time for a prestigious Champions League clash.

In view of the efforts made by The Special One, not to mention the whole Stamford Bridge spin department, to emphasise that Chelsea are not only a team of world beaters but a world beating team, you would think that they would be desperate to ensure that they have the best possible playing surface to allow them to prove the point against Barcelona.

Unless, of course, the reality is very different from the appearance and it's all hot air.
