Didier Needs to Rehearse More

Recently, an uncharacteristically camera-shy Jose Mourinho has been resorting to the subs bench at the Chelsea Fame Academy in his search for someone to front the post-match interviews.

The latest casting threw up that well-known stand-up (or should that be ‘fall down’) comic illusionist, Didier Drogba.

Unfortunately, in his excitement at being given his big chance, Didier momentarily forgot the script and fluffed his lines – nervously blurting out a confession about diving. Fortunately, he soon recovered his composure and in no time at all, he was back ‘on message’.

These interviews can be tough. A lot tougher than falling down, handling the ball and chasing referees.
