Consistency Counts
Congratulations to Chelsea, who not only retained the Premiership title with a game or so to spare but have the added satisfaction of doing so against a surprisingly lacklustre Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
Jose Mourinho’s side have triumphed because they have been by some distance the most efficient, most consistent and most single-minded outfit in the Premiership – not to mention the ones with the most pocket money.
But given the choice, it would be the sublime skills of Arsenal that the majority of us would pay to watch – title or no title.
