According to reports, Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce has moved swiftly and decisively to replace the departing David James (who has signed for Harry Redknapp at Portsmouth for a reported £1.2 million) with Sweden’s first choice goalkeeper, Andreas Isaksson. The 24 year old has joined City from French club Stade Rennes on a three year contract.
