Keeper Boost for Hammers
West Ham manager Alan Pardew is entitled to feel pretty comfortable about the last line of defence from now on, following the capture of Norwich City goalkeeper Robert Green on a four year deal that could rise to £2 million.
Green, who is 26 and now almost fully recovered from the ruptured groin he sustained in England’s pre-World Cup game against Belarus, is delighted to return to the Premiership and ready to compete for the number 1 spot with ex-Manchester United and current Northern Ireland international Roy Carroll.
