Glenn Roeder’s striking options at Newcastle United have been boosted by a loan deal with Manchester United for the services of 19 year old American born Guiseppi Rossi.

Rossi, who was born in America, has already represented Italy at Under 21 level and United boss Sir Alex Ferguson reckons that what he needs most is experience in the Premier League. Newcastle have him until the end of December, but the bad news is that the agreement does not permit them to select him to play against his parent club.
