New Charlton Athletic boss Iain Dowie’s recruitment drive continues – he’s signed 27 year old Senegal central defender Souleymane Diawara from French club Sochaux on a four year deal for a fee reported to be in the region of £3.7 million. And the beauty of it is, there’s no hassle about international clearance – Diawara holds a French passport.
