Time Bomb

The background to West Ham United’s sensational acquisition of Argentinian World Cup stars Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano has generated a great deal of publicity and provoked massive speculation.

In the circumstances ‘speculation’ is probably as good a word as any. Amongst other things, you can’t help thinking that Hammers boss Alan Pardew suddenly has two superstars at his disposal - but for how long?

And talking of that word ‘disposal’, Alan Pardew is the manager of West Ham United. But for how long?
