A Step in the Right Direction

What does William Gallas do in response to serious allegations against him by a club which has denied holding a clandestine meeting with Ashley Cole, been fined on more than one occasion by both national and international governing bodies, refuted claims that it has illegally approached young players registered with a prominent northern club, allowed its manager to brand Arsene Wenger a ‘voyeur’, become Premiership Champions with an excess of money and a minimum of style, and in the opinion of many concerned itself far too much with confrontation and politics?

Presumably he will be content to heave a sigh of relief that he is no longer obliged to play for an organisation which is detested so widely outside the narrow confines of its support base, and look forward to the exciting prospect of progressing his career with the Entertainers.
