A Special Moment

In his scheduled pre-match press conference two days before Chelsea’s eagerly anticipated clash with fierce rivals Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, Jose Mourinho faced the usual barrage of questions about his frosty relationship with Raffa Benitez.

One thing he did make crystal clear was that he had absolutely no intention of shaking hands with the Liverpool boss for the sake of the cameras.

So naturally when match day came and kick-off time approached the Special One could be seen hovering at the mouth of the tunnel waiting for his rival to emerge so that they could shake hands in full view of everyone – cameras included.

An act, presumably, of total spontaneity. Chelsea style.
