Mind On The Job
Liverpool fans are probably wondering why their side wasn’t awarded a penalty in the 75th minute at Stamford Bridge when Chelsea’s vastly overrated midfielder Frank Lampard pushed Steven Gerrard. It was so blatant that it’s hard to see how referee Mike Riley didn’t make the decision. Unless of course he was still sulking because Graham Poll had been given the Manchester United v Arsenal game.
The home team certainly missed him. Arsenal won 1-0 and to everyone’s amazement they, rather than United, were given a penalty. At Old Trafford. Riley wouldn’t have stood for that!
