Defoe Bites Back

A prominent feature of Spurs 5-0 Carling Cup cruise past the MK Dons was a brace of goals from bite sized striker Jermaine Defoe – further evidence that these days he’s really getting his teeth into the challenge of locking onto a regular place in Tottenham’s starting line-up and thereby improving his England prospects.

And as for Spurs, they’ve landed a really tricky tie in the next round – Port Vale at White Hart Lane.
