Life is just about as good as it gets for John Terry. Captain of Chelsea, Premiership Champions for the last two seasons and in with a good chance of a third consecutive title. Captain of England (though what they can achieve is anyone’s guess). And, of course, not short of a bob or two. In fact according to reports Chelsea are about to make him an offer he simply can’t refuse – a new contract, a long one, and a weekly wage of around £130,000 that should be enough to make him the highest paid player in the country.

Now that’s what you call pressure.
