Joy for Arsenal

Thierry Henry’s decision to stay at Arsenal, the club that he loves, and the announcement that he will be signing a four year contract and will “never play in Spain”, even though he had given the prospect some consideration, is the best possible news for Arsenal fans.

And judging by the flood of e-mails from fans of other clubs (with the exception of Tottenham – never the most generous) the news has been welcomed by genuine football people all over the country, who relish the chance to continue enjoying the artistry of one of the games truly iconic figures.
